At UBS we continually look at Health & Safety issues within the company to monitor our operations impact on the welfare of those who may be affected by our works.
UBS's commitment to Health & Safety is proven by the extensive lengths we go to with the implementation of Safe Systems of Work throughout our sites. These systems are backed
up by raising awareness, constant feedback from the labour force to Management and supplying all necessary equipment to enable works to be carried out. We also carrier out strict Risk Assessment and Method Statement procedures.
UBS's goal is zero incident/accidents throughout it's life time. This may be a bold statement to make but we believe that if our policies and procedures are followed it is not unachievable.
UBS is working towards an intergrated safety, environmental and quality Management System throughout all it's operations. We therefore have set our sites on OHSAS 18001 certification as well as Environmental 14001 and Quality 9001 certification.
